New math program starts in District 15
There's a new math program in Palatine Township Elementary District 15.
Students who meet specific criteria for math aptitude may be eligible for participation in the district's new out-of-level math program.
The program has been developed to give strong math students the option to learn at an accelerated pace.
It was the outcome of a comprehensive review of the district's math instruction policies.
Early this school year, elementary schools will begin identifying math students who qualify for the program in kindergarten through sixth grade.
