Seniors can bring cars to free safety inspection

B&B Auto of McHenry and Huntley Collision Center of Huntley, in support of Faith in Action of McHenry County, are sponsoring Safe Car Clinics for local seniors and Faith in Action volunteers from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4.

The clinics will be held at B&B Auto, 913 N. Front St. in McHenry, and at Huntley Collision Center, 11914 E. Main in Huntley. The Automobile Club of Chicago will provide refreshments, and Faith in Action's board members will wash your car's windows while the professionals are conducting a free 10-point safety inspection.

The safety check will include inspections of many important areas, including: tires, fluid levels, belts and brakes. Any local senior is eligible to benefit from this free safety inspection. And as a gesture of thanks to Faith in Action's volunteers, we are also asking that they bring their cars to be checked.

No appointment is necessary. Drop by B&B Auto or Huntley Collision on Tuesday, Aug. 4, to find out if your personal vehicle is as safe as it can be.
