Get tickets now for fundraiser

The United Commercial Travelers-Elgin Council 412 will host its eighth annual spaghetti dinner and raffle from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at 280 S. Melrose, Elgin. Donation, $10, includes a raffle and an all-you-can-eat dinner including a salad bar and desserts. The raffle includes $50 gift cards for Wal-Mart and Target, and two certificates worth $50 each for nine holes for two players at Streamwood Oaks Golf Club. Elgin church plans yard sale

St. Hugh Episcopal Church, 36W957 Highland Ave. in Elgin, will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27. The Retired Episcopal Ladies in Christ's Service sponsor the education of two young women: one in Uganda and one in Mexico, contribute to PADS, Little Angels, Elgin Food Pantry and Soup Kettle, Elgin Christian Development Corp., Episcopal Charities in Chicago and the national Episcopal Relief Fund. Cary church invites all to feast day event

The youth ministry at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 410 N. First St. in Cary, invites you to join in its Parish Feast Day celebration on Sunday, June 28. The all-you-can-eat ice cream social will start after the 11 a.m. Mass. There will be entertainment by the Cary-Grove High School Jazz Combo in the outdoor stage. Cost is $3 or $20 per family.
