Golf outing for Taylor:

Ten26 Design Group is holding a golf outing on Monday, June 29, to raise money to offset medical expenses for the family of Taylor Radtke, the 9-year-old Johnsburg girl who has undergone several surgeries to remove and repair tumors in her head that threaten her life. Registration for the outing at the Stonewall Orchard Golf Club in Grayslake is open until Friday. The outing begins with lunch, registration and open driving range at 11 a.m., a shotgun start at 1 p.m. and then dinner and reception at 6 p.m. The cost is $200 for individual golfers; $50 for dinner. Harvest market open:

The Downtown Elgin Harvest Market is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Oct. 8 at the city hall parking lot, the corner of East Highland and Douglas avenues. Growers from the area bring fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, bread, meat, eggs, olive oil and more. Special events are planned for each week as well. Huntley students earn honors:

The Education Foundation for Huntley Unit District 158 has awarded college scholarships to 14 Huntley High School seniors. Matt Hammer won the biggest prize, a $1,500 scholarship; Alex Albanese, Julianne Pacana, Brett Pawelkiewicz and Matt Wolf earned $1,000 scholarships; Joy Ayemobe, Alex Beruscha, Brett Deporter, Mallory Gyetvan, David Kraus, Cassie Myers, Jennifer Rodriguez, Mackenzie Roeser and Marissa Sopchyk all took home $500 scholarships. The foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports teachers and students in District 158. Visit www.district158.org/foundation.
