Spring holiday

• Friday is a Spring Holiday. All buildings will be closed and there will be no classes.

South Elgin High

• On Monday, Honors Night will be held at 7 p.m. in the South Elgin High School auditorium, 760 E. Main St.

Kenyon Woods

• On Thursday, the PTO will sponsor a talent show from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Kenyon Woods Middle School commons, 1515 Raymond St., South Elgin. Admission is $3.

Century Oaks

• On Thursday, kindergarten registration will be held at 4:30 p.m. at Century Oaks Elementary School, 1235 Braeburn Drive in Elgin. For details, call (847) 888-5181.

Clinton

• On Tuesday, kindergarten registration will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Clinton Elementary School, 770 E. Mill St. in South Elgin. For details, call (847) 888-7045.

Coleman

• On Monday, all Coleman Elementary students in kindergarten to second grade, plus third-graders in Susan Dalton and Lorena Alvarado's class will perform a Spring Sing called "Totally Awesome '80s" at 7 p.m. in the Elgin High auditorium, 1200 Maroon Drive.

• On Tuesday, all students in fourth to sixth grade plus Amy Echevarria's and Adelita Cortes' third-graders will perform a Spring Sing called "Totally Awesome '80s" at 7 p.m. in the Elgin High auditorium.

Highland

• On Wednesday, a school-based health clinic will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. in the art room at Highland Elementary School, 190 N. Melrose Ave. in Elgin.

Huff

• On Wednesday, kindergarten registration will be held at 6 p.m. at Huff Elementary School, 801 Hastings St. in Elgin. For details, call (847) 888-5285.

Laurel Hill

• On Thursday, an ELL Parenting class, sponsored by Hanover Township, will be held from 9:45 to 11 a.m. at Laurel Hill Elementary School, 1750 Laurel Ave., Hanover Park.

Liberty

• On Monday through Thursday, a Book Fair will be held during school hours in the Liberty Elementary School library, 121 Naperville Road in Bartlett.

• On Tuesday, the Book Fair will be open until 7:30 p.m. for families.

Nature Ridge

• On Wednesday, kindergarten registration will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Nature Ridge Elementary School, 1899 Westridge Blvd. in Bartlett. For information, call (630) 372-4647.

Ontarioville

• On Monday, kindergarten registration will be held at 9 a.m. for parents of English-speaking students at Ontarioville Elementary School, 2100 Elm St. in Hanover Park. For information, call (630) 213-5590.

• On Tuesday, kindergarten registration will be held at 8:45 a.m. for parents of bilingual students at the school.

Sheridan

Spring Trail

• On Monday, an Earth Day assembly will be held at Spring Trail Elementary School, 1384 Spring Valley Drive in Carol Stream.

Timber Trails
