Stevenson remains undefeated

The Patriots stayed perfect.

Stevenson's boys volleyball team improved to 7-0, including 2-0 in the North Suburban Conference, thanks to a 16-25, 25-17, 25-18 win over Libertyville on Wednesday night.

Kyle Buck and Brad Feiger slammed 9 kills apiece to lead the Patriots, while Brian Czosek lofted 22 assists on 56-of-57 setting. Jay Meisner chalked up 10 digs.

Libertyville (1-2, 1-1) received 11 kills apiece from Tom Hannum and J.J. Hill. Matt Bernard and Nick Olson combined for 23 assists, with Bernard dishing out 19. Hannum also served 2 aces.

Mundelein d. Zion-Benton: Mitchell Baumgartner had 5 kills and 3 blocks for the Mustangs in their 25-16, 25-20 win.

Mundelein improved to 4-5 and 1-2 in the North Suburban.

Vernon Hills d. Lakes: The Cougars won 25-17, 25-11 as Keegan Harris and Mike Robinson each had 5 kills.

Alex Tartakovsky registered 3 blocks, and Justin Opitz dished 9 assists on 16-of-16 setting for Vernon Hills (8-2, 2-0). Sam Lee added 7 digs and 6 assists for the Cougars.

Warren d. North Chicago: The Blue Devils captured a 25-11, 25-9 victory to improve to 10-5 overall and 2-0 in the North Suburban.
