Game time: 7:30 p.m. today.

Last week: Naperville North 48, West Aurora 12; WW South 45, Wheaton North 14
Outlook: Winners of 12 straight games dating back to last year's state title game, Naperville North again is surging toward the playoffs. Last week showed another glaring example of the Huskies' double-wing offensive power. While balance has been key in the past, running back Nick Mlady took the reins and rushed for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns for an offense averaging 317 rushing yards per game. Defensively, the unit boasts a clear leader in lineman Tim Weidenbacher, who had a hand in four of the team's 7 sacks last week. Wheaton North hasn't notched 6 wins since 2002, but an upset in this one could make that possible. Running back Mike Trumpy is out with a lingering hamstring injury, which puts the offense at a disadvantage. Quarterback Justin Swider, playing for injured starter Taylor Graham, offers a different running option. The emergence of wide receiver Trey Martin, who has 3 touchdowns among his 10 catches, adds another offensive boost.
