Sesso, Scipione for township trustee

Every so often, we are presented with fresh choices among those seeking positions in local government. There are two great candidates running for Schaumburg Township trustee and I ask you to join me in supporting these individuals by electing them to office on April 7.

Adam Sesso is a lifelong resident of Schaumburg. A graduate of Schaumburg High School, Adam is currently the vice president of the Schaumburg Township District Library Board. First elected library trustee in 2007, Adam is the youngest elected official in Schaumburg Township at only 27 years old. He has been an innovative and independent voice on the library board and aims to bring the same ideals to Schaumburg Township as a Trustee.

Nick Scipione is also running for Schaumburg Township Trustee. There are four seats up for grabs, so Adam and Nick are running together on a common platform. Nick is a graduate of Conant High School and has moved on to become a high-school science teacher. He has been active in the community for many years and I am confident he will make a positive contribution to the community as a township trustee.

Local elections are notorious for having very low voter turn out, so every vote counts. Please be sure to go out and vote and encourage your friends, family and neighbors to make a difference and vote on April 7
