It’s a graveyard smash
Andy’s Frozen Custard has a limited-time treat featuring two of Halloween’s most popular candies.
Reese’s Monster Mash Jackhammer combines vanilla or chocolate frozen custard with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Reese’s Pieces. It’s then drilled and filled with crème caramel.
The collab is only available Friday through Sunday, Oct. 30 to Nov. 1. Customers who purchase a medium Concrete or Jackhammer will receive a free Andy’s fall souvenir cup.
Also, on Saturday, Oct. 31, kids 12 and younger dressed in costume can receive a free, one-topping kids’-sized sundae to celebrate Halloween.
Festive cocktails
STK Steakhouse, 1225 W. 22nd St. in Oak Brook, is rolling out two specialty cocktails and a shooter to celebrate Día de los Muertos Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 29 to Nov. 1.
The limited-time offerings include the Marigold Margarita ($23), a seasonal twist on the classic marg with Espolòn reposado, pumpkin purée, orange liqueur, pumpkin spice and fresh lime, and the Old Skull Fashioned ($23), featuring a split base of Bulleit bourbon and Espolòn añejo tequila as well as agave nectar and peach bitters.
The Sugar Skull Shooter ($14) combines Espolòn blanco tequila, watermelon liqueur, mango purée and Tabasco.
