In early summer, a 1.22-acre island on Grass Lake near Antioch was listed for sale. Currently, Redfin Corporation has the property listed for $175,000, a $25,000 drop since early July. The island and its structures are in bad shape and there would be challenges and costs to rejuvenating the property. The island is in unincorporated Lake County and sits around 100 yards from the popular boating bar Blarney Island. Previous owners of the island in the early 1900s include George H. Nelson and Lewis Pfeifer. The Horse Shu Road and Gun Club bought the island in 1952 before selling to its current owner in 2020. Paul Valade/pvalade@dailyherald.com
