Meet Chicago Northwest launches two additional trails to its Passport Program: Taste of Asia and Taco Trail now available

Meet Chicago Northwest (MCNW) has announced the expansion of its passport program with two new trails: The Taste of Asia Passport and the Taco Trail. These two immersive culinary journeys invite food enthusiasts to explore the rich and diverse flavors of both Asia and Mexico, promising to awaken their taste buds through a curated selection of handpicked restaurants located in Chicago’s Northwest suburbs.

By participating in these interactive programs, families can try some delectable food and uncover the richness of the Chicago Northwest region through a curated collection of local restaurants, including 8000 Miles Chinese + Japanese Restaurant, 92 Town Korean BBQ Restaurant, altThai, Bangkok Cafe, Benihana and more through the Taste of Asia Passport. The Taco Trail also enhances MCNW’s commitment to fostering community engagement and showcasing what the Chicago Northwest suburbs has to offer, including Authentic Taco, Besa Mi Taco, Buenos Dias Burritos, Cielo Mexican Grill Restaurant, and more. Each featured location offers an opportunity to earn points, and most importantly, create lasting memories.

“This passport is an invitation to discover the vibrant and diverse flavors around the world, promising a unique and authentic experience at each stop,” expressed Heather Larson, president and CEO of Meet Chicago Northwest. “It’s an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the diverse and delicious local restaurants that contribute to our community as a whole.”

Patrons will use a digital passport, via text or email; there will be no need to download an app. When visiting participating locations, visitors can simply check-in on their phone to earn points towards earning a prize. Visitors must ensure that their location services are turned on to check-in via GPS.
