Under A December Moon

The Arlington Jazz Exchange (AJE) presents "Under A December Moon" 3:00 PM Sunday, December 10th at Forest View Educational Center theater, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights. This free concert will feature jazzy songs of the season, the holidays and lunar themed classics.

The band features seventeen instrumentalists and one vocalist, under the direction of Adam Velez, a graduate of Berklee College of Music ('86), and the current principal trumpeter for the concert band. Adam brings a wealth of jazz knowledge and performance experience to the AJE, and will be guiding the group through a wide and diverse selection of songs from artists such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Ella Fitzgerald, Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, and many more.
