Pumpkin Dash 5K Fun Run/Walk supports survivors of sexual violence

Northwest Center Against Sexual Assault (NWCASA) will host its second annual Fun Pumpkin Dash 5K to raise awareness against sexual violence with funds being raised to support community services to survivors.

The Pumpkin Dash 5K will be held on Saturday, October 7 starting at 8 a.m. at Busse Woods, Grove 27 (Arlington Heights Road between Higgins Road and Elk Grove Blvd), Elk Grove Villages, IL.

Participants registered prior to September 23 will receive a free event t-shirt so register today. There is a $40.00 registration fee. For inquiries or for sponsorship information, please contact the 5K/Walk director at kbarry@nwcasa.org

Carrie Estrada, NWCASA Executive Director, explained that "events we host such as the Pumpkin Dash 5K enables the non-profit organization to sustain high levels of service to the community."
