Craft & Vendor Fair to benefit District 54 Students and Families - Sept. 23

The Schaumburg Education Association and Schaumburg Educational Employees Organization are hosting a Craft and Vendor Fair on Saturday, Sept. 23, to benefit the District 54 Education Foundation. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., inside the District 54 Professional Learning Center, 522 E. Schaumburg Road, in Schaumburg, adjacent to the District 54 Central Office.

Those interested in being a participating crafter or vendor should visit https://tinyurl.com/SEEOSEACraft to register. The cost for participation in the event will be a donation to the District 54 Education Foundation. Crafters and vendors can receive a discounted rate by donating a raffle basket valued at $25 or more. Registration closes Friday, Sept. 8.

The District 54 Education Foundation is dedicated to providing resources and support to District 54 families to ensure the academic and social-emotional success of their children. Ongoing efforts rely, in part, on donations from members of the community who have generously invested in education through the D54 Foundation.

While Foundation programs have shifted over the years, its focus has remained the same: Supporting students today and preparing students for tomorrow. The D54 Foundation accomplishes those goals by funding the purchase of groceries, utilities and other essential items for families experiencing financial hardships, breakfast programs at all 28 District 54 schools, extracurricular grants for students, STEM programming in District 54 schoools and District 54's food pantries.
