Northbrook Theatre for Young Audiences Extends Invitation to Field Trip Groups

Northbrook Theatre for Young Audiences (NTYA) is bringing back their matinee shows geared towards families and audiences in their younger years. The 268-seat theatre, located at 3323 Walters Avenue in Northbrook, is the perfect setting to share live theatre. With a variety of shows, including sensory-friendly performances, NTYA is excited to make memories with you and your little ones.

NTYA will be performing a variety of shows over the coming months, including their current production "Wake Up, Brother Bear!," which is an interactive show running through May 13. Fall productions include "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" and "Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: The Rock Experience."

Field trips to Northbrook Theatre allow students to experience diverse, educational and entertaining productions that reinforce classroom curriculum while fostering an understanding of and appreciation for theatre arts.

"We are thrilled for the return of Northbrook Theatre for Young Audiences in 2023," said Performing Arts Supervisor Drew Kambach. "Especially as we venture into theatre for the very young, a participatory, multi-sensory theatre genre for our youngest audience members."

NTYA is a professional theatre company dedicated to presenting the highest quality shows to and for young people and family audiences. Shows are held on both weekdays and weekends.
