National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive May 13 Benefitting Schaumburg Township

Help fight hunger on May 13 for the annual National Association of Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Fill a bag with non-perishable food items and place it near your mailbox before your normal mail delivery time and your letter carrier will pick it up and deliver your donation to the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry.

In-kind food donations are in great need. Rising food costs, along with housing and utility cost increases, are affecting both food pantry use and donations. In the last six months the food pantry has seen a 21% increase in usage. Over that same time, donations have decreased by 28%.
