Schaumburg Library names new deputy director

Schaumburg Township District Library is proud to welcome Molly Scheibler as the library's new deputy director.

Molly Scheibler comes to Schaumburg Township District Library with 14 years of library experience. Most recently, she served as youth services manager at Indian Trails Public Library District in Wheeling. Molly also serves as an adjunct faculty member at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's School of Information Studies, and is actively involved in Reach Across Illinois Library Systems, Illinois Library Association and American Library Association.

"Molly truly has a service mindset," said Executive Director Annie Miskewitch. "I know our patrons will benefit from her guidance of our public services teams as we continue to look for ways to innovate and meet the needs of our community."

"I'm excited to join the Schaumburg Township District Library, a renowned five-star library with an amazing staff," Scheibler said. "I look forward to serving the wonderful Schaumburg Township community."

Both Miskewitch and Scheibler believe libraries should be safe and welcoming for all, and are dedicated to the library's mission and to serving the residents of Schaumburg Township. They'll continue to lead based on the library's recently created strategic plan which emphasizes building connections, future-readiness and being agile.
