Schaumburg Library to host visit author William Kent Krueger

As part of its One Book, One Community, Schaumburg Township District Library welcomes bestselling author William Kent Krueger to the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts on Thursday, Feb. 16.

Schaumburg Library's One Book, One Community is a time for residents of Schaumburg Township and the surrounding area to join together in the joy of reading a great book and have meaningful conversations. The library's One Book, One Community selection this year is the bestselling, historical fiction novel "This Tender Land" by William Kent Krueger.

Krueger will be at the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts to discuss his life and books, and answering questions from the audience. Audience members may submit questions in advance at SchaumburgLibrary.org, or the night of the event.

After his visit, Krueger's books will be available for purchase and signing thanks to Barbara's Bookstore.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., so audience members can mingle, enjoy a snack and the cash bar, and take a seat before Krueger speaks at 7 p.m. The event will also be livestreamed at YouTube.com/@SchaumLib.
