Property tax bills pushed back a month

NORTHFIELD TOWNSHIP

Northfield Township Assessor Alida Nally announced the payment of first-installment Cook County property taxes has been pushed back a month, and bills currently are available online.

The due date for first-installment payments is Monday, April 3. First-installment bills typically are due March 1.

Property taxes are mailed twice a year. This year the first bills will be mailed in late February or early March but are available for viewing and payment at cookcountytreasurer.com.

Partial payments are accepted. Late payments are charged 1.5% per month.
