Dueling Pianos to perform Feb. 11 at Huntley church

Enjoy the exhilaration of experiencing a Dueling Pianos musical performance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main St. in Huntley.

No tickets are required for this live performance and freewill donations are gratefully accepted. Everyone is invited to attend.

Professional pianist Ted Oliver will be joined by another highly regarded pianist to captivate the audience with an astonishing variety of music ranging from rock 'n roll, country, blues, jazz, oldies and more.

Oliver began playing piano at the relatively late age of 15 and by the age of 18, he was admitted as a jazz piano major at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri where he studied theory, performance, arranging and history in both jazz and classical piano. He has been a full-time musician since 1982.

He has traveled all over the country with the band Straight from the Heart and in 1991 was introduced to the Dueling Pianos scene. With almost 20 years of dueling pianos experience under his belt, Oliver has entertained audiences locally and around the country. He is the owner of Ted Oliver Productions based in Wisconsin.

The Dueling Pianos presentation is sponsored by the popular Artist Series program at the church.
