Meet the fleet! Touch-A-Truck returns to Northbrook on Sept. 17

Honk, honk! The annual Touch-A-Truck event is coming back to Northbrook on September 17 from 10am-noon. Kids of all ages can climb on and explore a variety of vehicles at this free family-friendly event held at Underwriters Laboratories, 333 Pfingsten Road.

Plastic construction hats will be handed out to young attendees, and there will be music so the little ones can move and groove while they check out some awesome machines.

"Children will get to complete a checklist of all the trucks they visited and turn it in for a prize," said Recreation Supervisor Nancy Eschker. "This is a great opportunity for truck and vehicle enthusiasts of all ages to come out to a free community event!"

Parental supervision is required and cameras are encouraged. Please note that this event includes many loud noises, horns and sirens. No registration required.
