  MacArthur Middle School in Prospect Heights hosted a St. Baldrick's Foundation event both virtually and in person in their gymnasium on Friday, raising money to fight childhood cancers. The theme was "Let's Take Back Childhood From Cancer." Sixth grader Bennett Rasar said, "I'm very excited to being doing this in honor of my friend in the 1st grade who has cancer." Bennett raised $2863.78, which was the highest amount from all the participants. Their hair was being cut by members of Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men located in Arlington Heights and Des Plaines.
