North Suburban YMCA Welcomes 'Trivia Night' on February 5

The North Suburban YMCA will hold an in-person Trivia Night 2022 fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 5 from 7- 9 p.m., at its facilities, 2705 Techny Road in Northbrook. Open to the public, participants are invited to form teams of eight or teams of 10; individual entries are also welcome.

Adhering to CDC guidelines and Cook County's Covid-19 current mitigations, proof of vaccination and masks are required for all Trivia Night participants. Individual ticket holders will be randomly placed with other team members who will be seated with other players up to 8 people at a table.

The cost to participate in the Y's Trivia Night event is $45 per person, $340 for a private table with a team of 8, or $400 for a private table with a team of 10. Ticket prices include beer, wine, soda, and snacks, and a chance to win raffle prizes. Trophy and prizes for 1st place winners will be provided. Babysitting is available for $15 per child with pre-registration for kids between the ages of 4-13. Babysitting packages are available for families with 2 or more children.

The community may also support the North Suburban YMCA by purchasing Trivia Night raffle tickets for $25 for one entry, $50 for three entries, or 7 entries for $100. Raffle prizes include gifts and gift cards from the PGA Tour Superstore, Culver's Northbrook, Tito's Handmade Vodka, Wine Baskets, Lotto Tree, and other local businesses.

"When we hosted Trivia Night in 2020 before the pandemic it was a community favorite, but like most events, it had to be virtual in 2021," said Kathy Fielding, CEO of the NSYMCA. "We are thrilled to once again host an in-person Trivia Night while following the new Covid-19 health guidelines to keep everyone safe. We also want to make it convenient for parents who can drop their kids at our Kidcare movie night while they enjoy a couple of hours of trivia fun."

All proceeds from the Trivia Night will go towards the Y's Community Strong Fundraising efforts to fortify the future of the Y and build a stronger community. To register for Trivia Night visit the Y's registration page at www.nsymca.org.
