Schaumburg Library announces bilingual storytimes

Two bilingual storytimes will be held online in September with the Schaumburg Township District Library. Children ages 2-5 years and their caregivers can register at SchaumburgLibrary.org beginning Wednesday, Sept. 1, for the Japanese program, and Wednesday, Sept. 15, for the Spanish program. Both will include English translation. Participants will receive a Zoom link.

"Japanese Bilingual Storytime" will take place from 6-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 22. Children will hear stories, sing songs and engage in other fun activities in Japanese and English.

The Spanish language storytime, "Cuentos Y Canciones," will take place from 6-6:45 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29. This program will include stories, songs and art in English and Spanish. Registered participants will also receive a Program Kit.

For information about upcoming library programs, see the Library Guide or select "Events" at SchaumburgLibrary.org. Anyone age two years and older must wear a mask while in the library, regardless of vaccination status.
