Teens Can Receive Service Hours at Schaumburg Library

Teens are welcome to earn two service hours doing projects to benefit the Schaumburg Township District Library and community. The "Teen Volunteer Hours" program takes place from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 9 in Teen Place at the Central Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Registration opens Wednesday, Sept. 1. Participating teens must bring their service hours paperwork to the session.

"Teen Volunteer Hours" takes place each month with different opportunities and tasks available during each program. Tasks are designed to benefit the library, as well as local and national organizations and charities.

Masks are required for all Schaumburg Library patrons inside the library buildings, regardless of vaccination status, in accordance with Cook County guidelines. For more information, go to SchaumburgLibrary.org or call the library at (847) 985-4000.
