Center of Concern Announces 2021 Award Recipients
Awards Presented at the Blacktop Tailgate on September 18
(Des Plaines, IL) The Center of Concern is proud to announce its annual award recipients who will be honored at the upcoming fall fundraiser event, a Blacktop Tailgate. These agency partners have a long history of service and collaboration to create a stronger, healthier, and safer community.
The awards ceremony will be held during the outdoor fundraiser event on Saturday, September 18th, and will recognize the Volunteer of the Year Paula Mack, Park Ridge; Dee Heinrich Award recipient Christine Perille, Park Ridge; Excellence in Leadership awardees Mr. and Mrs. Alfons and Tina Boshenz, Park Ridge; and the Partners of the Year, Niles Senior Center, Kelly Mickle, Director, and The Webb Foundation.
"With unprecedented requests for services in the past year, we are truly grateful for strong community partnerships which allow us to address unmet resident needs and increased hardships," said Center of Concern Executive Director John McNabola.
Through community, housing, and older adult services, the Center of Concern serves local residents with a variety of programs designed to assist individuals and families with challenges related to aging, homelessness, and accessing resources to remain independent in their homes and connected to their communities.
