Kids Can Prepare for Kindergarten with Schaumburg Library Program

Children preparing to enter kindergarten can get a head start with "Ready, Set, Kindergarten" from 1-1:45 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 10 or from 10-10:45 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 12, online with the Schaumburg Library. Register to attend one session only at SchaumburgLibrary.org to receive the Zoom link and Program Kit.

These identical sessions will offer stories, songs and a craft, and are designed for children starting kindergarten later this month. The Program Kit will contain colored construction paper and foam letter stickers. Participants may also need markers, crayons, scissors and glue for this program. Those who do not have these materials can request basic art supplies when registering. Each child can only receive these supplies once; not once per program.

For information about upcoming library programs, see the Library Guide or select "Events" at SchaumburgLibrary.org.
