Local Musicians To Perform At Da Vinci Waldorf School in Wauconda on Aug. 14

WAUCONDA, IL - On August 14th, Da Vinci Waldorf School will turn into an affordable outdoor concert venue similar to Ravinia. Ticket options are available for high end wines and gourmet grilled dinners made by an in-house chef, who is a regular guest chef at Bliss in Wauconda, delivered to your blanket. BYO beverage and food.

General admission seats for DaVinia (Ravinia @ Da Vinci!) are 4 for $25. A limited number of seats remain open for VIP seating (this includes meals and wine). This is an adults-only event. Doors open at 5pm and music goes from 6-10:30pm. Tickets can be purchased here: http://davinciwaldorfschool.org/2021/05/29/davinia/ .

The musical acts include:

No Filter: A great mix of fantastic cover B-sides and fun songs from every generation, with a twist from violin, mandolin, mandola, and a tenor guitar named Audrey.

Margaret Myren is a vocalist and violinist in No Filter and by day, she is the Parent-Child Program Teacher and Early Childhood Chair. She also is a DVWS parent alum! Her husband, Matt Myren, is DVWS Board President and on stage plays rhythm guitar and lead vocals. They are a dynamic duo - on stage and off.

Three Fine Pitches: The Three Fine Pitches are a predominantly a cappella singing trio. Although they rarely gig, it's always worth the wait, with a mix of classic, new folk, and original songs.

Elizabeth English is one of the women you'll see on stage, and she's also a parent to DVWS alumni, DVWS Music Teacher, Orchestra Teacher, Faculty Chair, & 8th Grade Handwork Teacher.

Mid Atlantic: Mid Atlantic is an acoustic guitar/mandolin trio, singing alternative rock, pop, and folk favorites from the last six decades.

Barry & Miriam Swann do vocals and guitar in Mid Atlantic and they also are parents to DVWS alum.

The Root Doctors With Kevin Purcell: Rockin' all-acoustic blues band featuring harmonica player extraordinaire/vocalist Kevin Purcell. Kevin is a founding member of DVWS.

"DaVinia is our way to let off some steam after the year we've all had. Our goal is to make people feel like they are at a high end outdoor concert venue, but for a fraction of the cost. We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Summer with our community." - Morgan Branson

All proceeds from DaVinia will go directly to tuition assistance and building improvements.

**Please consider promoting this event. Band members available for in-Interviews available upon request. Day-of coverage is welcome, too. **
