West Point Cadet Donates to WINGS

Daniel C. Lee, Jr., a recent Hoffman Estates High School grad has yet again made his mark I. The local community.

Daniel was honored with the rank of Eagle Scout from the local Boy Scout Troop 290 recently and was appointed to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point as a first year cadet this fall. Hoffman Estates Mayor William McLeod and the Board of Trustees, during Daniel's Eagle Scout/West Point Celebration, declared June 5th, 2021 as Daniel C. Lee, Jr. Day to honor his achievements.

Today, June 15th, Daniel donated 400 pump bottles of hand sanitizers to Wings, a local charitable organization for victims of domestic violence, for the children to use as a part of their school supplies coming fall.

Daniel went to John Muir, Eisenhower Junior High, and Hoffman Estates High School, and he plans to pursue a medical degree to serve in the U.S. Army Medical Corp after West Point.
