Seminole Sports gearing up for busy summer

On May 14-16, Seminole Sports, a youth baseball and softball organization, successfully held a baseball tournament in Crystal Lake and a softball tournament in Hoffman Estates.

Each tournament featured over 35 teams competing in age groups ranging from 9-U to 14-U.

Seminole Sports has continuously hosted tournaments like these for the last two months as the events have varied locations throughout the suburban Chicago and southern Wisconsin area and have resulted in zero COVID-19 cases.

Although this season is far from the organization's first rodeo as the family-owned and operated company has been hosting tournaments in the Chicago area for the past 27 years and has taken pride in the fact that they consistently have been labeled an extremely organized, professional and customer friendly youth sports operation.

As school comes to a close for most youth in the area, Seminole Sports is gearing up for the busiest part of their season. It will include baseball tournaments in Elgin, Glen Ellyn, Crystal Lake, St. Charles, Montgomery and a total of nine more tournaments the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates area.

Softball tournaments on schedule will include games in Elgin, Crystal Lake, Montgomery, Schaumburg and 4 more tournaments in Carol Stream. Travel teams of all kinds are welcome to play in the tournaments.

Whether they be affiliated with a school or not, have been playing together for a while or are just getting started, all are invited to compete and more importantly have fun.

All staff members at Seminole Sports are former college and high school athletes with a love for the game of baseball & softball and the urge to positively impact youth sports. Assisting coaches to teach sportsmanship, leadership, and communication skills through the game of baseball/softball is a top priority for staff members at Seminole Sports as well as encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle.
