Her goal is to reduce the stigma around mental health and give people hope, information and direction to better advocate and improve their whole health. Over the course of the pandemic, Dr. McBride's newsletter has become a trusted source of for real-time, fact-based information, advice, and commentary to help people assess their ongoing vulnerability, manage their physical and mental health, mitigate COVID risks and better understand vaccines, variants and evolving public health recommendations.
All proceeds will support The Josselyn Center's child, adolescent, and young adult services as the need for mental health care has only increased since the start of the pandemic. The potential long-term consequences of persistent stress and trauma are particularly serious for those 6 to 24 years old, Generation Z. The need is great, and action is required to prevent a more serious, widespread mental health crisis in the community. Josselyn is expanding its child, adolescent, and young adult programs to serve the growing behavioral health needs of our community.
