Schaumburg Library Announces Poetry Contest Winners

Winners of Schaumburg Library's Poetry Contest, along with their poems, are available on the library's website at SchaumburgLibrary.org. To see the poems on the website, click on "About," then "Library News" on the homepage.

In the Adult category, Bailey Johnk won first place for "An Ode to Anne Boleyn" and Kaitlyn won second place with "Your Poisoned Grace."

In the Teen category, Debdutta Mandal won first place for "Towards the North Star" and Dayita won second place for "Midnight."

The Youth winner is "Hippity Easter Poem" by Alivia Owen.

The Schaumburg Township District Library and its branches in Hoffman Estates and Hanover Park are open to the public, with limited hours and capacity. Please go to SchaumburgLibrary.org for details or call the library at (847) 985-4000.
