Northwest Suburban Woman's Club Celebrates Special Days

The weather is warming up and the Northwest Suburban Woman's Club is getting out and about. One of their 2021 projects involves "ribboning" the community to celebrate special days. Earth Day (April 22), Memorial Day (May 31) and the Happiest Day of the Year (July 18) are just a few of the days that will be celebrated.

Where? Ribbons will be popping up at the Streamwood and Hoffman Estates village complexes, Schaumburg Township Library and other Northwest suburban locations.

Commemorating Earth Day, the Streamwood Village Hall, 301 E. Irving Park Road, Streamwood, was the most recent ribboning recipient. With permission and guidance from Streamwood adminstration, over 40 bows were attached to lighting fixtures that surround the complex.

A member of the General Federation of Women's Club, Northwest Suburban is a 501c3 organization that believes it is possible to do good while having a good time.
