ECC recognizes Fall 2020 Academic Scholars

Elgin Community College President David Sam and Gregory D. Robinson, the assistant vice president of Student Services and Development/Dean of Students, recently recognized the level of high academic scholarship demonstrated during the semester. This recognition will appear on a student's grade report and on a student's transcript.

There are three levels of academic honors for students who complete a minimum of six credit hours of undergraduate level courses (100 level or above) during a semester:

• President's List for those with a term grade-point average of 4.00. The 947 students named to the President's List completed a minimum of six credit hours of undergraduate level courses (100 level or above) during a semester.

• Dean's List for those with a term grade-point average of 3.5 to 3.99. The 806 students named to the dean's list completed a minimum of six credit hours of undergraduate level courses (100 level or above) during a semester.

• Honor's List for those with a term grade-point average of 3.00 to 3.49. The 1,120 students named to the Honors List completed a minimum of six credit hours of undergraduate level courses (100 level or above) during a semester.

Congratulations to the 2,873 students named to an academic honor list. You can view all the lists at elgin.edu/academics/academic-scholars/.
