Glenbard East Theatre to livestream 'Almost, Maine'

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Glenbard East Theatre's winter play production will be recorded and available for online viewing at www.gefinearts.org/theatre.

Glenbard East will present "Almost, Maine" by John Cariani. This beautiful and heartfelt drama is comprised of six short plays that explore love and loss in a remote mythical town called Almost, Maine.

Audiences will be able to access the streaming production beginning on Friday, Feb. 19, by going to gefinearts.org/theatre and clicking on the play title: "Almost, Maine".

Glenbard East Theatre is not charging admission for the streaming performance, but they appreciate free will donations to help offset expenses. Donations may be made in two ways:

1. Credit card donations via gefinearts.org. Click on "tickets and donations;" then click on Almost, Maine and follow the instructions from the Seat Yourself online ticketing source.

2. Checks made payable to: G.E. Theatre and mailed to Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main St., Lombard, IL 60148

Cast members of "Almost, Maine" include: Fiona Bilkey, Reed Brooks, Gia Dagenhart, Maccoy Hartweg, Sophia Hoey, Anthony Nichols, Michan O'Brien, Katie Pruyn, Tony Roach, Samantha Rotar, Ricky Stachura, Peyton Vari and Linaea Walsh. Katie Pruyn is also serving as assistant director.
