Two Local Women Filling a Need with a Face Mask Refreshing Spray
Anne Gardner and Christine Platt of ANC Enterprises recently developed Face Mask Refresher, a fine mist spray that dries face masks while leaving a fresh scent. The local duo from Wheaton and West Chicago saw a need and moved forward quickly with this exciting new product.
The October 2020 genesis story is short for a product so long on uses! Anne texted Chris and said, "What do you think about a spray that eliminates mask breath?" Chris replied immediately, "I think we have a product!" These DuPage County entrepreneurial women made fast work of product development to meet the great need in the market. After researching options, experimenting with formulas, and blending scent combinations, Face Mask Refresher was born. "We wanted the spray to leave a light, appealing scent and keep masks drier throughout the day." Platt said. The fine-mist spray contains drying, seventy-percent alcohol with fresh-smelling, complimentary, organic essential oils. According to Gardner, "Face Mask Refresher doesn't replace washing face masks. Face Mask Refresher original blends include Bright (citrus blend), Calm (lavender blend), and Cool (mint blend).
