Schaumburg Library offers online literacy classes and 'Constitutional Rights for Immigrants'

Adults who want to improve their English language or reading skills, or who would like to gain a clear understanding of their constitutional rights as immigrants, are welcome to attend free online programs this month offered by the Schaumburg Township District Library. Register online at SchaumburgLibrary.org to receive a Zoom link for the following programs.

Discover the "Best Apps for Learning English" from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 14. Attendees will learn about quick, easy to access apps that will be a valuable addition to English classes.

Rights for immigrants will be the focus of "Constitutional Rights for Immigrants" from 6-7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 19. Participants will also learn about the process of obtaining a Temporary Visitors Driver's License (TVDL) in Illinois.

The Schaumburg Township District Library and its branches in Hoffman Estates and Hanover Park are open to the public with limited services and capacity. For more information, go to SchaumburgLibrary.org or call the library at (847) 985-4000.
