NIU Engineering offers information session online Oct. 21

The College of Engineering and Engineering Technology at Northern Illinois University will hold a one-hour virtual session to provide information about its graduate degree programs at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

The college offers master of science degrees in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial and systems engineering, and industrial management and technology engineering. It also offers doctoral degrees in electrical engineering, industrial and systems engineering, and mechanical engineering.

"Students will learn how an advanced degree can provide an increased earning potential and a significant upward career trajectory," said Mansour Tahernezhadi, senior associate dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology.

The college offers an early admit program for current undergraduate students and an accelerated program where students can earn a bachelor's of science and a master's of science degree in just five years.

The session will also review the requirements, deadlines, research opportunities and internships available.
