Carrie Lee Photography organizing fundraiser for food pantry during May

Carrie Olinger, owner of Carrie Lee Photography, is joining forces with Food for Greater Elgin to host a fundraising event to support the charity and benefit those in the Elgin area who are experiencing food insecurity. Food for Greater Elgin is dedicated to providing food security and access to community resources to stabilize lives.

Throughout the month of May, Carrie Lee Photography is offering front porch sessions for families within 15 miles of Elgin. All session fees plus 10% of any additional sales will be donated to Food for Greater Elgin to support those in the community who lack basic needs. In addition, each family will receive a beautiful heirloom ornament as a thank you for participating.

Olinger works with her clients to create an artistic portrait that celebrates the spirit and personality of each family in a way that is uniquely them, all while maintaining social distance.

Portrait artist Carrie Olinger is known for her ability to capture children's personalities in a fun and stress-free way, and these limited-edition portraits offer the chance to document this historic time and each family's place in it; to help their neighbors and community in a tangible, meaningful way; and to create gorgeous one-of-a-kind artwork for the home.

"Most of us have digital images of our children stuck on our phones or buried in Facebook. I want to create something that won't just collect dust on your hard drive, but that will instead live on your walls or coffee table to be enjoyed daily and serve as a reminder of your enduring love for one another," Olinger said.

This event is happening all month long. To inquire about availability, simply fill out the form at www.carrieleephoto.com or call (708) 287-5459.
