CCU Celebrates Grand Re-Opening of Northbrook Service Center
Waukegan, IL, March 3, 2020: Consumers Credit Union (CCU; $1.3 Billion, Waukegan, IL) held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, February 19, at the historic credit union's newly remodeled Service Center in Northbrook, Illinois. The Shermer Road location now offers a modern high-tech, digital banking experience along with personal concierge service from friendly and knowledgeable staff. The Service Center even offers 24-hour access for Members with any CCU Credit or Debit Card.
The credit union's open house included a ribbon cutting ceremony, led by CEO Sean M. Rathjen. Joining Sean were Village President Sandra Frum, Bob Caldwell, Chairman of the Board of the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce and the Service Center's Member Experience Manager, Jeanine Bender. Also in attendance were CCU Board Members Shawn Clisham, Scott Drabicki, James Mahnich, Michael Raysakis and Frank Soyka, along with a number of Chamber of Commerce Members and credit union staff.
"The Northbrook Service Center team is thrilled with the new technology and the ability to better serve our Members," said Jeanine Bender, a veteran CCU Manager who's also in charge of the Round Lake Beach location. "Our long-time Members love the new open, welcoming feeling from the minute they enter the branch, along with the outstanding amenities and CCU's world-class products. We are equally excited about the opportunity to attract even more new Members thanks to the credit union's reinvestment in the Northbrook community."
The architectural concept for the remodeling project was created by Joseph Bellisario, CCU's Facilities Project Manager. The General Contractor was Elevated Construction, Inc., of Arlington Heights, IL. Elevated Construction President Norman E. Hays and Bellisario were also on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony. In addition to Bellisario, the credit union had more than a dozen employees who participated in the Northbrook Service Center project.
