Wood Dale sets Prairie Fest entertainment lineup

The City of Wood Dale will continue its annual tradition of holding Prairie Fest this summer from July 23-26. With live entertainment, food, music, drinks and a carnival there's something for every member of the family!

On Thursday, July 23, The Concrete Roots Band will perform reggae music from 6 to 7:15 p.m. and Fool House will play '90s Pop from 8 to 9:30 p.m.

On Friday, July 24, Infinity, a 1980s Classic Rock band, will perform from 6 to 8:15 p.m. and 16 Candles, a 1980s dance band, will play from 9 to 11 p.m.

On Saturday July 25, Everett Dean & The Lonesome Hearts will perform music from Elvis, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Hillbilly Rockstarz from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m., The Lounge Puppets, a 1980s hair band tribute, from 7:30 to 9:15 p.m., and Jefferson Starship will perform hits like "White Rabbit," "Somebody To Love," "Jane," "Miracles," "We Built This City" from 9:45 to 11 p.m.

On Sunday, July 26, Simply Elton: The Elton John Show will be 3 to 4:30 p.m., Heartache Tonight: The Eagles Concert from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m., and Heart To Heartbreaker: Saluting Women of Rock from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Gates will open one half-hour prior to show time. Sponsorship and vendor opportunities are available.
