Stop by Jan. 11 open house for Bad Axe Throwing's new Aurora location
The world's largest axe throwing company, Bad Axe Throwing, is opening a brand new location in Aurora. Located at 1022 N. Farnsworth Ave., Aurora, IL 60505, Bad Axe looks to bring next level fun and entertainment to the people of Aurora.
The people of Chicago have made the other two locations downtown two of the busiest in the country!
• FREE OPEN HOUSE: Residents of Aurora will be able to experience the thrill of axe throwing for free during an open house from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11.
• BEER & WINE: Bad Axe Throwing is a fully licensed establishment that serves a variety of craft and domestic beer and wine.
• WE'RE BOWLING 2.0: They host competitive leagues, birthday parties, bachelor/ bachelorette parties, and corporate and team building events.

Axe throwing is completely safe. They have had over 700,000 customers with no more than a splinter. They offer thorough safety and technique demonstrations to ensure everyone feels comfortable before picking up an axe. Portions of the general public may not think axe throwing and alcohol are a good mix but all of the staff are trained to make sure everyone drinks and throws responsibly.
From 8 to 98, we have people of all ages enjoy the axe throwing experience. As long as you're strong enough to throw an axe they encourage you to try out the sport for yourself!
A proud part of the World Axe Throwing League, Bad Axe Throwing allows its league members to compete in competition with more than 6,000 other throwers from 150 locations and 19 countries all over the world. With competitions throughout the year and a yearly championship hosted on ESPN, the 2018 World Axe Throwing Champion was a member of our incredible Bad Axe staff.
