Warrenville Police Department joins in Toys For Tots campaign through Dec. 13

The U.S. Marine Corps 2019 Toys For Tots campaign has begun, and the Warrenville Police Department is a DuPage County donation drop-off site.

Now through noon on Friday, Dec. 13, new unwrapped toys (in original packaging) for children from newborn to 12 years old may be dropped off at the police department, 3S245 Warren Ave.

Donations will be accepted during regular business hours, which are 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. It is closed on city holidays.

Monetary donations may be made through the Marine Corps Toys For Tots website at dupage-il.toysfortots.org. The monetary donations will be used to purchase toys for children in DuPage County when shortages occur. Please note that the police department will not accept monetary donations.

All toys collected will be distributed to DuPage County children in need, and with your continued generosity, these children will have an opportunity to experience the joy of Christmas!

For questions on this campaign, contact Community Service Officer Joshua Perry at (630) 393-2131 (police non-emergency).
