Vets receives Smiles for Veteran's Day

Arlington Heights, IL - Appreciating our Veterans for their service is something many Americans do on a daily basis. The sacrifices that they have made over their time of duty is something that really can never be fully repaid. Gratitude for these Vets are shown in many ways: Parades, fundraisers, memorial and dedication walls, brick walkways just to name a few.

Many of these Vets haven't smiled for years. A smile is a powerful tool in life. Smiles provide people with confidence and higher self-esteem and have been proven to allow individuals to adapt better in the community whether it be work or play.

On Friday, November 1st, Favia Family Dental on Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights decided to give their own unique gift back this Veteran's Day to some selected Vets in the way of smiles.

6 appreciative Veterans will be on the receiving end of over 20 free dental implants and dental work reaching a value over $80,000.00.

For the past month Dr. Joe Favia and Staff have been "vetting" former soldiers that are need of major dental work that they have not been able to get done over time simply due to costs.

Dr. Favia did get some big help from Megagen Implants, SICAT Guided Surgical stents, Arlington Height's own Heritage Dental Lab, Maxxeus Bone and Snoasis Medical.

Dr. Favia has done this type of day in Wisconsin the past 3 years and decided to do the same here in Arlington Heights.
