Rock climb for Halloween treats Oct. 19 at Ackerman Center

Kids, age 5 to 11, will enjoy a morning of climbing and candy on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center, 800 St. Charles Road in Glen Ellyn.

The facility once again presents its popular "Trick-or-Treat Climbs."

Participants can scale the indoor rock wall in costume as they seek the sweet taste of success. The higher they climb, the better the treats!

Registration is required for the one-hour events, which take place starting at 9 or 10:30 a.m.

The fee is $15 for Glen Ellyn Park District residents ($20 for nonresidents).

Sign up is limited for each time slot and can be completed online at www.gepark.org/register.
