Live it up at the Rat Pack Supper Club

Wear your most stylish fedora and pearls for a chic evening filled with the timeless sounds of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin at Schaumburg Park District's Rat Pack Supper Club.

The event is set for 5 to 8:30 p.m., Oct. 11 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

Guests will experience a sense of nostalgia as they enter the gymnasium, which will be transformed into a 1950s and 60s Las Vegas supper club - paying tribute to the era of the original Rat Pack and the Sands Hotel and Casino, where many of their performances took place.

The pre-show will feature performances from Schaumburg Park District's Bravo Show Choir and Expressions/Charmed Dance Companies, followed by The Chicago Rat Pack. The tribute band will perform fan favorites from the coolest cats of that era.

A seated dinner, catered by Beef Villa, is included in the ticket price and will include broasted chicken, mostaccioli, salad, bread and butter, and dessert. A wine and beer cash bar will be available.

"Music lovers can turn back the clock and find themselves in a Vegas-style club during the era of the Rat Pack - without a plane or a time machine," said Beth Waller, cultural arts supervisor. "The Chicago Rat Pack always puts on an energy-packed performance that you won't want to miss. Purchase your tickets and come live it up with us for a spectacular evening of food and entertainment."

Guests must be 13 years or older to attend. Cost is $49 per person for standard seating.
