Mikes Bike Shop to Host Bike Drive on Oct. 27

The 2018 Pedal Power Bike Drive will be held at Mikes Bike Shop in Palatine and at nine other Chicago area locations on Saturday October 27 from 9 a.m. until noon. This is a bike drive to benefit the hardworking students in the Chicago Public Schools. Donated bikes are given to students as a reward for earning good grades and for making the honor roll.

Since its inception in 2008, Pedal Power has collected close to 3,000 bikes and the program has proved to be an excellent incentive for CPS students. If you have unwanted, working bikes taking up space in your garage, please consider bringing them to any of the following locations from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday October 27, 2018:
