Bethel United Church of Christ to host annual rummage sale June 15-16

Bethel United Church of Christ will host its annual indoor rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 15, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 16, in its Welcome Center, 315. E. St. Charles Road in Elmhurst.

Buyers will find a wide range of housewares, linens, books, toys and games, electronics, tools, collectibles, jewelry, and other items. Proceeds from the sale go in part to Bethel's Human Concerns budget, which benefits local groups such as Elmhurst Walk-In Assistance Network, Adult Christian Care, the Yorkfield and Bensenville food pantries, and PADS, among others.

Those wishing to donate items for the sale can bring them to the church Welcome Center beginning Monday, June 11 through Wednesday, June 13, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Items should be clean and in good repair; no clothing or upholstered furniture, please.

Parking is located behind the church and can be accessed from St. Charles Road or from Huntington Lane off Poplar. Church facilities are fully accessible. For more information, call the church office at (630) 279-4040 or visit www.bethel-ucc.org.
