Wheaton Municipal Band to hold auditions in May

Wheaton Municipal Band's summer season begins Thursday, June 7, with "Sounds Spectacular" in Memorial Park in downtown Wheaton.

Before the season begins, however, the band needs to identify the right musicians to perform.

Auditions for the band will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 20, and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 27, at city hall, 303 W. Wesley St.

Auditions consist of sight-reading and performing a provided prepared excerpt. For more information, go to the band's website.
