Geneva Wedding Walk promises to delight, inspire

Sunday, March 4 marks the 11th annual Geneva Wedding Walk. Brides- and grooms-to-be will spend the afternoon visiting a myriad wedding vendors and gaining valuable inspiration for their Big Day.

"Geneva is known for being a wedding planning hub; I'd venture to guess that there are more wedding vendors per square mile in downtown Geneva than any other Chicago suburb," said Tara Vanderheyden, Geneva Bride co-chair and owner of Invitations by Design. "So many couples tell us that our event is at the top of their list because of the sheer number of high-quality vendors concentrated in one location. It's more than a wedding expo … the Geneva Wedding Walk is a wedding planning experience."

The walk kicks off at 11 a.m. at the Herrington Inn & Spa. Brides/grooms and their guests will spend the afternoon touring nine wedding businesses in downtown Geneva before capping off the event at Riverside Receptions where a vendor reception will be held with an additional 15 vendors.

Each ticket includes a scarf, tote bag, and fantastic gift and giveaways from the vendors. Registrants also have the chance to win a 4-night, 5-day all-inclusive stay at the Hotel Marina El Cid Resort and Spa in the beautiful Mexican Riviera Maya, courtesy of Travel Leaders of Naperville.

Admission is $25 in advance, $30 the day of the event, for the registrant and two guests. Register online at www.genevabride.com. Space is limited.
